1. Abbreviations
Okay often while in battle or the capital you will see many abbreviations and as a new player this can be very frustrating so I am going to make a list of all the abbreviations and what they actually mean.  Most of them are very self explanatory.
FP= Fast POC                                                                     V= Versatile attacks (V-moths, V-hawks)
SP= Slow POC                                                                    Brb = Be Right Back
AG = Air to Ground                                                            AFK= away from keyboard
GA = Ground to Air                                                            RB= Regi Battle
GG= Ground to ground                                                       LG= Land Grab
AA = Air to Air/ anti-air                                                      UL= UnitedLegion
SE= Standard Enhanced map                                              HP= Hit Points
AON= All or Nothing map

2. War Meter and what it means
Press F2 and you will see the map of Relic, and you will also notice 3 bar-graphs on the right side of it, with Helike, Pompei, and Troy there.  Each of these factions will have a number of points with their bar.  You will also see a timer and it will say when the next “cycle” begins. The timer will be there and when that time goes up usually every 9 minutes the server counts all the lands for each faction and adds them up to our war meter. Once that bar fills up your factions moral becomes very high, and everybody receives a uranium bonus.  This is great for paid members because it gives them that chance to buy the better weapons.  Which will give our faction more wins.  The best way to gain points on the war meter is to Capture as many lands (provinces) as you can.  If you look closely at the map you will notice certain lands have a Dot on them, this will show up as “Current field value” every plain land is worth 1 point, but lands with dots can up worth up to 3 points !!! These lands are very important for gaining points on the war meter, and you also get a free repair if you win the battle at that map !  As a regiment we want to make sure we defend our lands and keep more than our 2 enemy factions.

3. Regiment Chat
Basically you can talk to all the regiment no matter where they are on the map.  All you have to do is whisper to SHIFT+8 or whisper to *.  You can put anything u want behind the *.  For example *UnitedLegion.  You will be able to whisper by the text box on the right hand side.

4. Map Types
Press F2 and click on one of the maps, each map has a “Map Type” depending on what the map type is, can alter the way you do battle.
SE= Standard Enhanced Maps  This basically means that the attackers must capture atleast one POC before the clock hit’s the 10:00 mark, or they lose the game.  Also if the defenders Repoc all the captured POCs they win even before the game timer is up.
AON= All or nothing maps,  This means that the attacker needs to capture EVERY SINGLE POC to win the battle.  This can be done at anytime of the battle.
Victory maps are more complicated.  There will be points on the top of the map, and I don’t  want to confuse players about this right now.  So basically the point is to keep Poccing, and hold the pocs.  Whoever has the most pocs, and dies the less, keeps there points.  Every time a squad dies, or losses a poc, they lose points.  At the end of the match whoever has the most points wins……that simple.

5. Rules of the United Legion regiment.
   Okay we have one main rule.  First off just be a great person and use common sense, im not going to list every single petty little thing here you all know how to behave well.  Lets just have fun here after all it is a video strategic game.  MAIN RULE IS, stick together !!!  When we all want to battle as one, please join us.  Stop going off solo, and doing your own thing…..strength is in numbers !!  Why join a regiment if you do not want to make friends, learn, and battle together ??  So we have 1 rule, rein and help your Teammates in battle.  Always always follow where your regi goes !!   YOU GAIN MORE EXPERIENCE THIS WAY !!  YOU WIN MORE BATTLES THIS WAY !  (press f2 and if u see a map with white outline that means a regi member is fighting in it)

6.   End Game also abbreviated EG means that the battle is coming close to a end, and we need to focus on the POC’s.  Basically its about the last 4 mins of battle.  For our regi you will want to bring out either Poccers or Anti-Poccers.  This means that  Pegs and Shades and Albs (just to name a few) are not acceptable units for the end game.  To increase your chances of winning you want units that have a lot of HP and Armor, or high attack so u can clear the pocs.

7. What units to bring to the end game and why.
As I have already been over this briefly you wanna bring units that are soley able to poc, or stop the enemy from poccing.  These are your “BIG GUNS”.  The 2 best units to bring for the EG to stop poccers are War Pigeons (Pigs) and Daevas THEY BOTH ROCK and deal armor piercing damage.  For poccing if your stats arnt made to poc, then get Warping Medics, or Podas for the EG (EndGame)

8.  What Tact, Clout, Edu, and MechAPT mean
Tact: every 20 points = 1 extra unit per squad in battle,  20tacts = 7units, 40=8, 60=9, 80=10
             Clout gives you a better unit quality to upgrade your units in the lab, to higher MK’s or even a new unit chassis.  Example 18 clout can upgrade a lvl 25Imp into a Daeva

9.  The purpose of joining and fighting with a regiment is quite simple.  To win and have fun !  When you are with a regiment you can be apart of something great, and be apart of great strategic battles.  You can gain more experience and level up faster.  You make friends and will always have someone protect you while you are in battle.      EXAMPLE: You bring arbs into a battle and nobody guards them, and a pack of pegs destroys them all……the rest of your Faction mates ignore your cry for help.  If you was with your UNITEDLEGION regiment, they would have planned ahead to make sure your arbs would have survived and your gaming experience would have been a lot better that battle.

10.   Best ways to gain experience is to win battles.  Best way to win battles is to fight with your regiment.  Best ways to win battles with your regiment is to take a map close to the enemies capital.  With a high field value and “sit and defend” that map.  Everytime you win the battle everybody in the party gets a free repair.  This means that you and your regiment can sit that map for as many battles as you want, gain experienced, and wins and never have to leave to repair your units.  THIS IS A NO BRAINER.  Fight with your regiment to gain experience, and do your best to win battles with them.  [ On SE maps the battle should go on for longer than just 4 mins if you wanna gain any experience so usually you should let the enemy have a POC before the 10:00 mark, unless said otherwise by a commanding officer ]

Stat Points
-----------

Stats are a major part of the game and not always easy to decide. I hope this guide can help you. **Note** This guide is for all stats on Relic. Remember that you can always reset your stats as a paid player by typing /statreset for 10 uranium.

When you reach level 22 in all divisions on Relic you have a total of 124 statpoints to use. You will of course want to use them as you level to make your units stronger. (Or if you have a ULsoldier build with 21 in all divisions to stay on relic forever for free, then you get 120 total statpoints to use.)

-------
Tactics
-------
Every 20 Tactics points you have, you get to command an added unit during combat which adds to a base amount of 6 units, and for every Tactic point you get +5 Health Points (HP for short) on all your units. For example, if you had 5 Tactics, you would command 6 units, but if you had 80 Tactics, you would command 10 units total.

Tactic Breaks are 5, 20, 40, 60, 80, 100*, 120* (*Extreme stats for Relic)
-----
Clout
-----
For every Clout Point you get half a point of Unit Quality (UQ for short). To upgrade your units faster through the Marks (MKs for short) and also for getting more advanced unit chassis and Organics faster. When your unit increases in the MKs you get more space which makes room for some of the more spacious armors, and also gives you extra armor/health points/range/speed which increases as MK increases. Clouters make great POCing (POC and POCing will be explained later) units, but aren't the best stats overall for this Planet.
